This Privacy Policy explains how IV Drip Rate Calculator (the "App") handles information about its users.

1. Information the App does not collect

The App does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or any patient information, and it does not require an account.

The values you enter, such as volume and infusion time, are used only for calculations on your device and are never sent off the device. The App's language setting (Japanese, English, Spanish, or Portuguese) is stored only on your device.

2. Information collected by third-party services

The App uses the following services provided by Google LLC to show ads and to improve the App. These services may automatically collect the information listed below.

Google AdMob (advertising)

IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of your device
App interactions, such as app launches, taps, and video views
Diagnostic information about the performance of the App and the SDK, such as app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage
Device and account identifiers: advertising ID, app set ID, and, if applicable, other identifiers related to signed-in accounts on the device

Google Analytics for Firebase (usage analytics)

App instance ID, which is assigned to each installation of the App to calculate usage metrics
Advertising ID
Masked IP address, which is used to estimate your approximate location
Screen views and sessions
Firebase Installation ID (an identifier associated with each app installation; it is not used to identify you or your device.)
Device information, such as OS version, device model, and manufacturer (used to provide and improve Firebase services; it is never linked to a user or device identifier)

3. How information is used

This information is used to deliver ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and understand how the App is used so we can improve it. We do not use this information to identify you personally.

4. Sharing of information

The information above is sent to Google LLC and handled in accordance with Google's privacy policy. It may be processed on servers outside your country. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with any other third parties.

5. Ads and your choices

The App shows ads served by Google AdMob. You can turn off ad personalization and reset your advertising ID in your device settings (for example, on Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads). On Android 12 and later, you can also delete your advertising ID.

6. Children's privacy

The App is intended for healthcare professionals and students, such as nurses and nursing students. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Medical disclaimer

The App is a calculation aid for educational and reference use only. Always verify calculations and follow your local policies and procedures. The developer is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of the App's calculations.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in the App's features. Any changes will be posted on this page.
